Ross-on-Wye Lions Club – Currently CLOSED due to Flooding

Ross Lions run a Charity Shop to sell donated items from the local community.

These donations allow for recycling of items and help to avoid landfill, thus being beneficial to the environment.  Because the shop is run by Lions and volunteers, the funds raised help to keep Lions projects going.

The Charity Shop is also a collection point for recycling spectacles, a major worldwide cause for Lions Clubs. Donated spectacles are sent to Birmingham Lions HQ for sorting and from there those of good quality are sent to parts of the world where there is less access to healthcare. As well as spectacles, sunglasses are accepted as part of the Lions mission to end preventable blindness.
