Duck Race at Carnival

Good weather for ducks? Well the little yellow racers were in fine form when they raced along the River Wye towards the end of Ross Carnival 2016. Nearly 1400 tickets were sold, meaning that 1400 ‘owners’ could have watched the race that started at the Hope and Anchor. Crowds were seated on the launch steps and around on the grass as the ducks leapt out of the power boat and started their race towards the finish line.

Ross Lions Club would like to thank all those who took part but especially those who helped with the race by launching and then collecting in the ducks.
