The Leos of 105W are a resourceful bunch and when faced with a challenge found a way to make it happen. The Leos of Ross on Wye and Porthawl were determined to add to the contributions of the Leos of Europa in raising funds for Fisher House. Ross Leos decided on their challenge – to cycle the distance from Ross on Wye to Fisher House near the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, a distance of 61 miles. However they managed it without too much difficulty, as they were able to do it ‘virtually’ using the static bikes in the Gyms of their local High School.
Fisher House is a place for families to stay whilst visiting injured Services Personnel who are treated at the Q.E. The idea of raising funds came from the Lions Clubs who will be meeting for their Europa Forum in Birmingham over that weekend.
This was a big target for the Leos of Ross to aim for, but they are a determined group always looking for new challenges to help their chosen charities

The Leos are busy collecting in their sponsorship money, Porthcawl have £50 to send and for Ross Leos the total so far is £470.
Well done to all involved!
