For many years now, Santa has been helping Ross on Wye Lions to raise funds for their projects and good causes. Once again he has managed to find time in his busy schedule to visit his grotto in Pengethley Garden Centre every Saturday and Sunday in December. Thanks to the staff at the Centre, he is able to talk to children in his magical grotto, where everyone gets a chance to ask for what they would like to find in their stocking. Parents and grandparents often enjoy the visit as much as the children, and it is magical to see little faces lit up with joy when they come out with a gift ‘just to be going on with’.
As well as chatting in the Grotto, Santa is also visiting the special breakfasts held in the restaurant, which are proving very popular again this year. Every table is visited and children here are also offered a gift. In return, Santa reminds children that they must be well-behaved and also that they must remember to leave carrots out for his reindeer on Christmas Eve.
Santa’s last visit is on Sunday 23rd December and Ross Lions remain very grateful for all that the Garden Centre staff do to help them raise hundreds of pounds at this special time of year.
