Join Lions, Make a difference
Founded in 1917, Lions International has 1.3 million members in over 200 countries. Together we raise funds for local and international charities.
The Ross on Wye club was formed in 1971, is currently 24 members strong and is actively seeking to recruit new members.

WHAT WE DO
We raise money by running events that are as much about fun as they are about fundraising. Each year Ross Lions raise around £12,000 through events such as Race nights,

The Ross Round Walk, Bonfire night fireworks display, golf days to name but a few.

WHERE IS THE MONEY SPENT?
For current and past projects see the "what we do" tab above.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
Meet new people and enjoy a good social scene, with activities ranging from dinner dances to skittles evenings, or just enjoy a chat over a beer after meetings.
Give a little back. Whether it is providing support locally, or being part of an international initiative, YOU can make a difference

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
We are seeking individuals who will actively participate in the fund raising events.
Ross Lions meet twice per month on the first and third Tuesday at the Ross Conservative Club.
NB. Lions is a non political organisation – the venue was chosen on the grounds of convenience, facilities and the price of the drinks, not politics.
